Kwankwaso Meets Dickson, Reaffirms NDC’s Readiness For 2027 Elections

The vice-presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has met with the party’s National Leader, former Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson, as part of efforts to strengthen the party’s unity and prepare for the 2027 general elections

The vice-presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has met with the party’s National Leader, former Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson, as part of efforts to strengthen the party’s unity and prepare for the 2027 general elections.

Kwankwaso disclosed this in a statement posted on his social media platforms after paying a courtesy visit to Dickson at his Abuja residence on Sunday.

According to him, the engagement was aimed at reinforcing the party’s resilience, unity and strategic readiness ahead of the next general elections.

He stressed that the NDC remains committed to democratic principles and the rule of law, expressing confidence in the judicial process despite what he described as temporary setbacks.

“As true democrats, we remain committed to the rule of law and have absolute confidence in the judicial process. No temporary setback can weaken the spirit of a movement built on hope, justice, equity and the collective aspirations of the Nigerian people,” he said.

Kwankwaso urged party members, supporters and well-meaning Nigerians to remain calm, resolute and focused on the party’s shared mission.

He expressed confidence that the party would overcome its challenges and remain a strong political force ahead of the 2027 elections.
